On This Day's main purpose is to track events in history whether they be recent or a long time ago. This system relies on contributions from members of QRIG, especially when it comes to recent events. The following is a guide on how to submit On This Day events.

1. First, be sure to have logged in to QRIG.
2. In the User Menu, click Submit
3. In the same menu, click Submit On This Day
4. Fill out the Date (Day, Month, Year) of the event
5. Write in a brief description of the event.
6. Write in your email address (used for verification)
7. Click Save. This will notify the moderators of QRIG and one of them will check the submission and then authorise it.
